I have been thinking, and it occurs
to me that our subjects will likely travel outside our range of radio contact
when establishing new colonies.
Colonies travel into the cosmos as
representatives of humanity, and I believe it is our duty to preserve the
planet's non-scientific knowledge in addition to practical information.
I would like to make a formal
request that comprehensive arts and cultural histories make their way onto the
microchip databases.
